As a registered dietitian for nearly a decade, I've treating thousands of patients in various settings including from the intensive care unit to private practices. During this time, I've also worked as a freelance food, nutrition, and wellness writer, reaching millions of readers through over 250 articles published for outlets including Well+Good, Real Simple, Better Home and Gardens, Taste of Home, Vitamix, and more. Most recently, I received my Master's degree in environmental studies from University of Colorado Boulder specializing in sustainable food systems.
